Introduction

Emily: Hello everyone! I'm Emily, one of the fellow writers on this blog. I like to think of things as a journey. Right now, this blog is the start of a journey and my fellow writers and I would like to invite you to come along with us as we travel across our imaginations and thoughts into a world of deeper understanding of the world around us. Before any journey begins, I think it's good to get to know your travel companions a bit more. I'm more of a quiet person, but I have many thoughts and ideas that people often don't think I have. I'm supposedly kind hearted, considerate, a good listener and empathetic but I'm not a wishy washy person - or so my friends say. In my spare time, I really enjoy dancing ballet and pointe. I also love reading and writing, which are pretty much a given to me. Unfortunately, if asked, I can't name my favorite book or even books. But if I had to, A Little Princess, To Kill a Mockingbird, Anne of Green Gables and The Candymakers would definitely be on the list. I also thoroughly enjoy working and volunteering with little kids, and one day hope to be a teacher. I do love to learn, as much as that shocks some people. Music is another thing I enjoy and listen to a lot. I mostly tend to listen to country, Christian and classical music, which brings me to another thing. A very defining and important part of me is my faith. I am a Christian and I guess that plays a part in a lot of my choices. Well, I guess that just about sums me up. This is just an overview though and as we progress on the journey, you'll all discover a lot more about me and my fellow writers.

Indigo: Hullo everyone, I'm Indigo! I'm bad at introductions, want to learn French, suck at swimming, have knacks for ice skating (even though I rarely go ice skating, my grand total is about ten times), climbing poles, and writing. And... uh... I like biking. I have a time-traveling watch but I'm only allowed to use it five times a year, so don't go asking me to solve some ancient mystery. I also have a secretary. She's annoying and bossy but nice. (She takes phonecalls for me!) I like rain but have never seen snow- something I think would be worthwhile. I like Kim Possible, Harry Potter, Keeper Of the Lost Cities (when IS that new book going to come out??), The Lost Conspiracy, Fly By Night, The Princess Bride, The Sound Of Music and the Incredibles.

Sapphique: Hello Everyone! I am Magic Dragon, otherwise known as Sapphique. I make awkward introductons, and now I do not know what to say. Well, I love the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, I am slowly watching Dr. Who, and Violet recently introduced me to Dan and Phil. I enjoy reading, drawing, and listening to music. Hopefully I can contribute something good to this blog.

Vivi: Hey, I'm Violet! Uhm... I'm pretty bad at introducing myself... Anywho! I love reading pretty much anything, i write stories, i love nature, and I'm in way too many fandoms at once, if it's Possible. ()

Hey peoples, Lauchlan here! I'm excited to be starting this blog with my best friends!
I'm a down-home Christian southern girl with dreams soaring high and ambitions even higher!
You can probably expect a lot of random thoughts, ranting, story/novel writing, and random hobbies, as well as a ton of fangirling, from me. All that together makes up most of me!
Some of my favorite authors are: Shannon Messenger, L.M. Montgomery, Susan Coolidge, Louisa May Alcott, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Ann Rinaldi, Ridley Pearson, Frances Hodgeson Burnett, and many many more!
To add to that, some of my favorite genres are: historical fiction, fantasy, mystery, and books about my faith.
Music is also a big part of me. I'm currently learning to play piano and I just love it! I commonly listen to celtic, Irish, and folk music, as well as country, Christian, and some random pop songs I take a liking to.
Some of my other hobbies are jewelry making, dance (modern, jazz, tap, and possibly ballet this fall), and a small bit of cosplaying here and there. I'm currently working on world domination while preparing for the zombie apocalypse (I'm convinced that's when King Arthur will return). I'm also known to be just a wee bit obsessed with weapons, explosives, and cars. (Top Gear was not necessarily a good influence.)
I have many dreams, which I think is good for a body. They inspire hope and give you drive and determination! I dream to one day be a published author and a U.S. historian, earn a pilot's license, travel all across the USA as well as go to Europe. I'm determined to make these happen!
